Like a kid in a candy store – To be so excited about one's surroundings that one acts in a childlike or silly way (बहुत ज्यादा -बच्चे की तरह -उत्साहित होना)

You should have seen him when they arrived. He was like a kid in a candy store. (आपको उसे देखा जाना चाहिए था जब वे पहुंचे। वह बच्चे की तरह उत्साहित था।)

Mummy’s boy - (an insulting word) a man who is still very dependent on his mother (माँ का बेटा/ माँ पर आश्रित)

Salman needs to grow up. He’s such a mummy’s boy! (सलमान को बड़ा होना चाहिए। वह माँ पर आश्रित है!)

New kid on the block - someone who is new in a place or organization and has many things to learn about it (किसी जगह या संस्थान में आया हुआ नया व्यक्ति जिसे बहुत कुछ पता ना हो।)

I was the new kid on the block in this job so I was determined to prove myself. (मैं इस काम में नया आया था इसलिए मैं खुद को साबित करने के लिए दृढ़ संकल्प था।)

Sleep like a baby - to experience a very deep and restful sleep; to sleep soundly (बहुत अच्छे से सोना)

Yesterday I slept like a baby. I didn't hear the alarm also. (कल मैं बहुत अच्छे से सोया। मैंने अलार्म भी नहीं सुना।)

Throw the baby out with the bathwater - to lose valuable ideas or things in your attempt to get rid of what is not wanted (कूड़े करकट के साथ काम की वस्तु को फेंक देना)

Most of his ideas were terrible except for one, so let’s not throw the baby out with the bathwater.  (उसके अधिकांश विचार बेकार थे एक के अलावा, इसलिए हमें कूड़े करकट के साथ उसे भी नहीं फेंकना चाहिए।)
